Tactile Paving care instructions
INSAFE Tactile Paving Products are designed for use internally and externally. Thorough slip resistance testing on all INSAFE Drill & Drive Products has be conducted in Wet & Dry conditions to Australian & New Zealand standard AS/NZS 4586.2004.
INSAFE Tactile Paving Pty Ltd is committed to its products and services by ensuring all products undergo testing in accordance with AS/NZS 1428.2002, The Building Code of Australia and the Disability Discrimination Act of Australia.
The test results of each INSAFE Drill & Drive Product are available on this website in the technical data section and can be downloaded in PDF format. The PDF format will display the applicable test, its result for that test, along with the INSAFE product and its specification details.
INSAFE Tactile Paving Pty Ltd have conducted and met all of the requirements for all of their Drill & Drive Products and as such comply with HB 197.1999
As a part of your duty of care and to keep INSAFE Tactile Paving products at their peak performance, INSAFE Tactile Paving Pty Ltd recommends the following care and maintenance should be routinely undertaken.
Daily Dry Conditions – Sweep any dirt or vacuum and debris away with a stiff nylon brush, broom or vacuum head.
Daily Wet Conditions – Wipe dry with a clean mop or cloth to insure maximum slip resistance performance.
Weekly – Wash down with warm soapy water or mild detergent. A high pressure cleaner may also be applied. Wipe dry with a clean mop or cloth after cleaning to remove all detergents and soapy residues.
Monthly – Inspect the product and check for any wear and tear.
Annually – Thoroughly clean the INSAFE Tactile Paving following steps 1, 2 & 3.
For replacement Products & maintenance of the INSAFE Tactile Paving Products, please contact your INSAFE Tactile Paving Agent who originally supplied and or installed the INSAFE product/s on your project.
